An estimated 17.5 million people died of cardiovascular disease worldwide in 2012, accounting for 31% of all deaths worldwide. Of these deaths, an estimated 7.4 million were due to coronary heart disease and 6.7 million were due to stroke. In 2017, 15 thousand cases of acute myocardial infarction and 3.5 thousand cases of unstable angina pectoris were hospitalized in the Czech Republic.
This clinical guideline addresses the following questions:
How to quickly and accurately diagnose acute coronary syndrome (all its forms) ? Where and by whom should patients with acute coronary syndromes be treated ? What is the optimal treatment for unstable angina pectoris and acute myocardial infarction without ST elevation? What is the optimal treatment of acute myocardial infarction with ST elevations ? How to properly carry out secondary prevention of acute coronary syndromes ?
cs|Odhaduje se, že na světě v roce 2012 zemřelo na kardiovaskulární onemocnění 17,5 milionů lidí, což představuje 31 % všech úmrtí na celém světě. Z těchto úmrtí bylo odhadováno 7,4 milionů kvůli koronárním srdečním onemocněním a 6,7 milionu kvůli mozkové mrtvici. V ČR v roce 2017 bylo hospitalizováno 15 tisíc případů akutního infarktu myokardu a 3,5 tisíce případů nestabilní anginy pectoris.
